Defendant-Employer refused to provide handicapped accessible housing for Plaintiff. Plaintiff’s housing was unsuitable after his serious injuries, which caused him to be wheelchair bound. Counsel for Plaintiff successfully obtained the cost of handicapped accessible housing for his paraplegic client as well as other handicapped benefits, including home care services. The insurance company was ordered to obtain, modify and provide for the client’s use a home judged suitable by the Life Care Planner.
